Issue 3 - September 2008

From the Editor

Here is the third e-newsletter from the SJTAG Working Group. We hope that this is providing a useful link to the activities of the Working Group, although you will probably find that there is some new material on the SJTAG website almost every week.

This has been a short month for us, as absences have meant that we've only managed to hold two meetings in September instead of the usual three, and as a result we have a little less news than usual. However, October looks like it'll be real busy and with ITC at the end of the month, the next newsletter may be a little late being published!

To change your mailing preferences, scroll to the bottom of this newsletter to find links.

Any comments on this newsletter can be mailed to admin@sjtag.org.

SJTAG in the press!

SJTAG has now attracted the attention of the trade press! Two members of the Working Group were interviewed recently by the UK-based journal "New Electronics". Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to "proof read" the finished article, so a few minor errors of fact have gotten through. Never mind, the additional exposure is still welcome!

The full article is available to download on-line.

Fringe Meeting - ITC 2008

Once again, the SJTAG Working Group will be holding a "Fringe Meeting" during ITC. This will be held from 10:30am to 12:30pm on the Thursday 30th and is expected to use a conference room in the Hyatt Regency Hotel (adjoining the Conference Center). The venue details will be published on our website as soon as they are known.

Anyone planning on attending this meeting is encouraged to let Brad Van Treuren know as soon as possible. If you don't have Brad's contact details, you can use the Contact page on the website.

New Electronics article (Issued: Tue, 23 Sep 2008 20:38:00 GMT)

The September 23rd issue of New Electronics carries a feature on System Test and members of the Working Group were interviewed for an article on SJTAG. This article picked up some old information from our website, unfortunately, so Ben Bennetts still gets credited as chair instead of Brad Van Treuren!
